Application to Classrooms
School funding affects schools in a major way. This can get kids to get more educated about all topics, especially thoughts of current events. Kids could become more educated with classes such as Sex ED, as well as this could improve students' reading levels. As stated earlier, only 57% of kids in poverty can read at a basic reading level, this could not only increase the percentage but possibly put these kids at a higher reading level.

More funding in schools especially those that have mostly disenfranchised students, would also open up opportunities to have access to resources that they didn't previously have access to. This could be things such as more technology use in the classroom or access to extracurricular activities such as music, art, or sports. This would also give more kids access to resources that could help improve their daily lives.

Improvements in the classroom aren't the only things that would be improved either. According to the Economic Policy Institute, putting more money into schools can also help boost and stabilize the economy and recover from issues that exist, such as recessions and economic problems that came out of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
